We actively encourage the transfer of these resources to employing organisations without a fee. These arrangements ensure that those who wish to transfer to an employer may do so without delay.
CRB checks and BPS membership
| We undertake Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) both for our own psychologists and those employed by our clients. Our on-line CRB service means that checks can be carried out from around the UK by anyone with access to a scanner and the internet. Checks can be undertaken in as little as one week! We provide enhanced level checks for all locum/temporary workers looking for Educational Psychologists roles. Overseas workers are required to provide comparable evidence at the time of registering. CRB checking is undertaken FREE of charge, we do not charge locum/temporary staff for CRB checks. | We support the regulation, membership and ethical structures of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and staff looking for locum work must be registered with the BPS before we are able to introduce you to clients. Registration with the BPS is simple, provided you have the qualifications and ethical standards required. Details are available from the BPS web site. This does not mean we can not provide you with detailed assistance but it does mean we can not help you secure a permanent or locum role until your registration is complete. |
